Hi, I’m Kristin and I Write Stories I’d Want to Read

If you had told me a few years ago that I’d be introducing myself as an author, I probably would’ve laughed… and then immediately added another book to my TBR. Reading has always been my escape—the place I go for mystery, chaos, strong characters, and stories that keep me up way too late. Somewhere along the way, that love of reading turned into something more. I didn’t just want to consume stories anymore—I wanted to create them.

I’m drawn to stories that are a little messy, a little mysterious, and full of characters you can’t quite figure out at first—but can’t stop thinking about either. The kind where everyone has secrets, motivations aren’t always clear, and the truth slowly unravels in ways you don’t see coming. That’s the energy I bring into my own writing—layered characters, unexpected twists, and just enough chaos to keep things interesting.

Outside of writing, I’m a lifelong reader, a marketer by trade, and someone who is always juggling a few too many creative ideas at once. I share my reading life, reviews, and bookish chaos over at Kristin’s Bookshelf, where you’ll find everything from cozy mysteries to dark, twisty thrillers—and plenty of opinions along the way.

This space is where my stories live. Whether you’re here for the mysteries, the characters, or just to see where this journey goes, I’m so glad you found your way here.
